magar and gurung culture 'Losar'

this is also culture and tradition which is celebrated by magar and gurung community and they are celebrated this festival per year in December.In this festival magar and gurung people wear their own dresses of gurung and magar cultural dresses and get together and make delicious food and eat together and they are dancing and singing in this festival and this festival is main festival of gurung and magar caste and they are enjoy very much in this festival all womens wear new dress and wear jewelery of their cultural and they are all looking beautiful and cute and all day they are enjoy with their magar and gurung comunity and all day having the delicious food and they are presenting their culture and tradition and they after performing they are proud of them self and in this day we can watch the magar and gurung culture and various of their culture show and if we see this culture we all enjoy and like this culture and we know their culture and their language how they talk it is really amazing language and pretty language.

  1. Magar people don't celebrate losar. I have loads of magar friends , none of them celebrate losar at all. However, they do celebrate maghesankranti.

Actually we have magars are duvided into 2 parts like 18 magarat and 12 magarat and as i remember in our region of 12 magarat we celebrate poush 15 as our biggest festival which is now called as a lhosar, ane 18 magarat ma chai maghe shankranti lae pachi gayera 1uta mannu parxa bhanda maghe shankranti lae manne bhanyo so pachi gayera maghe lae maneko ho or magheshankranti is also the losshar of magar people lhos=barsa shar= naya

    3. actually it's leshshar not loshar. lesh=year, shar=bloomed or flower so it bloomed year. It falls on the date of magh 1st which is also known as magheskranti.
